Equinix 與 Flo Energy 簽署第四份可再生能源購電協議
Equinix 與 Flo Energy Singapore 簽署一項全新太陽能購電協議，成為這間數據中心營運商過去兩年內於新加坡簽訂的第四份協議。此協議預計將透過商業及工業用途天台太陽能裝置，提供至少 11.5 MWp 的可再生能源產能，並附有將產能擴展至最多 50 MWp 的選項，以支援 Equinix 日益增長的能源需求，以及新加坡的 Green Plan 2030 目標。
此次合作標誌著 Equinix 成為透過 Flo 全新推出的 Data Centre Solutions 平台所簽下的首位客戶，此平台同時亦服務澳洲的營運商。
隨著新加坡土地資源有限的市場環境，促使數據中心營運商必須拓展多元化的可再生能源採購渠道，此協議標誌著即使大規模太陽能發電場並不可行，透過整合多個場址的分散式天台太陽能裝置，仍可釋放出相當可觀的清潔能源產能。

Equinix signed a new solar power purchase agreement with Flo Energy Singapore, marking the data center operator's fourth agreement in Singapore over the past two years. The agreement is expected to deliver at least 11.5 MWp of renewable capacity from commercial and industrial rooftop solar installations. It also includes an option to expand capacity up to 50 MWp, supporting Equinix's growing energy needs and Singapore's Green Plan 2030.
The partnership marks Equinix as the first customer secured through Flo's newly launched Data Centre Solutions platform, which also serves operators in Australia.
As Singapore's land-constrained market pushes data center operators to diversify their renewable energy sourcing, this agreement signals that aggregating distributed rooftop solar across multiple sites can unlock meaningful clean energy capacity even where large-scale solar farms are not feasible.
