Developers using AI coding tools often need to keep checking tabs or terminal windows to see whether a task is still running, needs input, or has reached a usage limit. Vibe Buddy is a small desktop robot designed to provide a physical status display for coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code. It shows whether an AI is currently working, waiting for user input, has completed a task, or has reached its usage limit.

This allows developers to monitor their AI coding tools without constantly switching between applications or opening another browser tab. The desktop form factor also gives the status information a more visible presence in the workspace than a notification that can easily be missed.
