現代廟宇風格身心靈修養所
BE_Design 設計 Woods Retreat——一座座落於紐約 Springs 林地之中、佔地 600 平方呎的養生靜修所。項目將傳統 A 字形結構重新演繹為一座小型神殿式建築，專門用作冥想、昆達里尼瑜伽，以及舒緩身心的桑拿與冰浴儀式。
Woods Retreat 專為一位主持課程教學的老師而設計。BE_Design 這個項目佔地極小，卻打造出一個深具修復力的環境，支援呼吸練習、靜心及具身修行——其陡峭的三角形造型引導視線向上延伸，同時將身體牢牢連繫於大地。兩個懸挑式凹室由主體結構向外延伸，框住周邊森林景致，並打造出私密的角落，供冥想或休憩之用。建築的挑高空間讓頌缽儀式的振動能更自由地迴響，提升聲音修行體驗的音響效果。

The Woods Retreat is designed for a teacher who hosts instruction. BE\_Design's project boasts a minimal footprint that provides a deeply restorative environment that supports breathwork, stillness, and embodied practice, with its steep triangular form drawing the eye upward while anchoring the body to the earth. Two cantilevered niches extend outward from the structure, framing views of the surrounding forest and creating intimate pockets for meditation or rest. The building's loftiness allows the vibrations of gong ceremonies to reverberate more freely, enhancing the acoustic experience of sound-based practices.
