Patterson Homes, a Scottsdale-based builder specializing in luxury custom residences, has completed an extensive down-to-the-studs renovation of a 5,532-square-foot hillside estate located in the private, guard-gated community of Lincoln Hills. The project, which encompassed both a main residence and a substantial detached guest house, involved the complete replacement of all major structural and mechanical systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and insulation, alongside the integration of a Control4 home automation system.
Patterson Homes' design approach for the Lincoln Hills renovation reimagined the 1974 original as an organic mid-century modern estate, characterized by wide-plank white oak flooring, custom wood ceiling details, expansive glass installations, quartzite surfaces, and premium Miele appliances. By coordinating the architecture, systems, and interior design as a single, unified build, Patterson Homes effectively treated the renovation with the same comprehensive planning and execution discipline typically reserved for ground-up custom home construction.
