BENEO 支持可持續稻米種植方式
BENEO 宣布一項全新計劃，透過一項為期三年的合作項目，支持越南可持續稻米種植實踐，此項目將處理一系列區域性問題。此計劃由法蘭德斯政府資助，合作夥伴包括前述的 BENEO，以及 Rikolto 及 CarbonFarm。此項目將全面考量稻米種植過程中的種種低效問題，並將於湄公河三角洲地區，為至少 1,000 位農民提供 Sustainable Rice Platform（SRP）標準的培訓。
特種米原料業務營運總監 Roland Vanhoegaerden，就這項可持續稻米種植實踐計劃表示：「這項計劃清楚展現了 Beneo 對氣候緩解行動及可持續發展的承擔，以及透過創新解決方案，積極應對全球挑戰的取態。我們深感自豪並感到興奮，能夠運用 Beneo 在生產及推廣機能性成分方面長久積累的專業知識，與我們的項目合作夥伴及越南農民攜手合作，減少稻米生產對環境的影響。」

BENEO has announced a new initiative to support sustainable rice farming practices in Vietnam through a three-year collaborative project that will address a series of regional issues. The initiative is being funded by the Government of Flanders with partners including the aforementioned BENEO alongside Rikolto and CarbonFarm. The project will take a variety of the inefficiencies related to rice cultivation into account and will see at least 1,000 farmers within the Mekong Delta region receiving training on the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) standards.
Operations Managing Director for Specialty Rice Ingredients Roland Vanhoegaerden spoke on the sustainable rice farming practices initiative saying, "This initiative clearly demonstrates Beneo's dedication to climate mitigation actions, sustainability and its proactive approach to addressing global challenges through innovative solutions. We are proud and excited to leverage Beneo’s longstanding expertise in producing and marketing functional ingredients in collaboration with our project partners and Vietnamese farmers to reduce the environmental impact of rice production."
